Any certain kind of GS cookies that you like best with coffee?

I love peanut butter and apples.

I can't say what food combo I love....everyone would gross out and then make fun of me. It's something I grew up on...I guess it's the comfort food thing.

I wonder if anyone else has weird food combinations they grew up on, and still love?

For some reason, Diet Coke has to be accompanied by chocolate.

Red wine has to be accompanied by chick flicks.

Perfect (food) pairings (which is different than a perfect pair):

- coffee and fresh cookies (oh yes!)
- coffee and Baileys
- coffee and Kahlua
- coffee and tequila
- macaroni and cheese
- spinach and artichoke dip
- tri-tip beef with tequila marinade
- sex then breakfast, or sex then lunch, or sex then dinner, or sex then dessert, or sex then sex

Be well.

I like the classic Southern White Trash snack--a Moon Pie with an RC Cola. Yum!

M&M's and cashews... sweet and salty together.. nothin better!

Shiree.. growing up comfort foods that I always go back to when I'm feeling down.. peanut butter and butter and/or honey sandwiches... sounds weird, but really good especially on soft, fresh bread.

I think spiced rum and dark chocolate are great together. A nibble and a sip.

Mmm, little pretzels dipped in peanut butter and homemade raspberry jam. Or chocolate.

Graham crackers dipped in chocolate milk. or smothered in frosting.

Gluby actually got me to try raw broccoli dipped in peanut butter one time (we were still dating and I was being way too nice.) Ugh, don't try it.

Have to second the moon pie and RC cola

Also:
Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches
Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches
Peanut Butter and Bananas
Peanut Butter and Chocolate
Peanut Butter and Moon Pies
Peanut Butter and Buckwheat pancakes
(with syrup)

There seems to be a connection here.

I grew up on the breakfast of champions: Coke and Pop Tarts.

Do they still include real girl scouts in those girl scout cookies, or do they now make them out of imported little girls? =;-)

I love:

Diet Dr Pepper and Cheetos
Rum and Coke
Diet Dr Pepper and popcorn
French fries dipped in BBQ sauce, mayo, or ice cream.
Pretzels dipped in ranch dressing
Celery in ranch dressing

I guess Diet Dr Pepper and pretty much anything.

No wonder I am gaining weight so fast.

Hot, fresh french fries dipped in hot fudge. It sounds gross until you experience it. Mmmmm.

Chocolate ice cream and Coke used to be my breakfast of champions.

Peanut butter in a hot dog bun with a hot dog (kosher of course).

Oh I just love carrots and green jello, or potatoes and cheese, or root beer and homemade ice cream, my famous chocolite chip cookies and freshly squeezed cows milk.

Hmm. You have *no* idea how tasty toasted pita bread with butter and raw purple onions, thinly-sliced. The taste is completed with sweetened Earl Grey/Ceylon blend tea.

So tasty.
